Instead of the original cramped viewport that AS2 islands sported, we've expanded the viewport for a more cinematic experience, allowing you to see much more of the game at any one given time.
Original Poptropica was built for 31 FPS gameplay, and this was bumped to 60 when the AS3 version was developed - but Legacy Edition is AS2 at 60 FPS!
You can also maximize the game window and play Poptropica in full screen!
Additionally, the resolution of the original game has been upscaled to full HD, for crisp visuals that match modern gaming standards.
You can login (import) your original Poptropica account directly into Legacy using your original username and password! Your island progress, inventory, and costume are preserved. Flashpoint curation save files are also compatible!
After years of Sandbox giving us lip service about the OG island remasters, we finally have a sound system for AS2! We've also included unused music (much of which had been made for these islands all along!).

Thanks to Pop veteran Evtema3 (a.k.a. 64mcy, the original creator of the Poptrop Ad Transporter), Legacy sports over 140 ad campaigns from over the past 20 years of Poptropica preserved! Sadly, many of these campaigns are incomplete, missing their popup content - but you can still play through many of them, and get the original rewards!
